Summary of how I use two Browser Tabs and work.
Use two tabbed browser windows:
Preferred: While in the browser window simply highlight the text and images, and copy Ctrl+C.
Alternative Step, not necessary: Log into
OpenCPN Druple 6 (old) as “Editor” (CKG Edit) and open the page needing migration. Make sure you are in “Rich Text Format” with no
HTML showing. It should show “Switch to Plain Text Editor” just below the edit window.
-
In Druple 6 (old) website page with the cursor in the window, highlight all text in the page with Ctrl+A, then Ctrl+C to copy.
Change focus to the Dokuwiki (new) tab, and put the cursor in the ChkEdit Window and paste the
HTML formatted text into the window using Ctrl+V. If the page was previously created be sure to put your cursor below the title so you do not overwrite it.
Make sure the Title is properly phrased and formatted ======Title======= This title is used by the indexmenu automatically for the
TOC. NOTE: If the page has all ready been created by others it is highly likely that the title is correct, so don't over write that.
Add the necessary index sorting code {{indexmenu_n> [sort order number] }} NOTE: If the page has already been created by others, it is highly likely that this code has already been entered, so don't over write that.
At the bottom pick “Save” to save the page.
You must “Paste” into the Dokuwiki page when in “CKG Edit” mode, otherwise it will not format correctly. Then try Saving it. When you switch from the CKG Edit mode to the DW Mode, it should translate html to dokuwiki. Then I have been editing that page in DW Edit mode, but whatever Editor works best for you is fine!
